Shareholder

Greg Sinacori is a Certified Public Accountant, and Shareholder with Hilburn & Lein, CPAs, a full-service accounting firm in Las Vegas, Nevada. Along with his individual and business clientele, Greg works closely with the staff that prepares tax returns, financial statements, and bookkeeping. Greg joined Hilburn & Lein in November of 1995 as a Shareholder. He brings to his position the unique talent of helping the ‘non-accountant’ understand complex tax matters and make difficult financial decisions. Greg’s desire to share his knowledge, his generous spirit of giving, and love of his work make him a natural advocate for small business owners.

Greg attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1985, majoring in accounting at Eastern New Mexico University. While at UNM, he was a member of the fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta and served as chapter president. Upon graduating from ENMU, he moved to Plainview, Texas where he worked for Holmes Jones & Pendergast CPAs preparing tax returns and financial statements for mostly agricultural and oil and gas clients. Greg obtained his CPA certificate from the State of Texas in 1987. In September of 1987, Greg relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, and became a staff accountant with Hilburn Main & Gorman Company where he met Gary Lein. Greg worked with several construction clients and became an expert in preparing tax returns and financial statements using the percentage of completion method of accounting. Greg also gained exposure to the gaming industry. In 1991, Greg left public accounting and became the CFO for PT Corporation dba PT’s Pubs a start-up gaming/tavern company with two 15 machine restricted gaming license locations, and two 35 machine non-restricted gaming licenses. While CFO of PT’s, the company expanded to 21 taverns, 2 small casinos, and a slot route operation. In November of 1995, Greg returned to public accounting at Hilburn & Lein CPAs where he has been serving a multitude of various clientele over the past twenty years.

Greg has a thirty-year history of “Service Above Self” as a member of Rotary International. He served two years with the Rotary Club of Plainview, Texas. Upon moving to Las Vegas, Greg became a member of the North Las Vegas Rotary Club. In March 1997, Greg became a charter member of the Rotary Club of Las Vegas, Summerlin. Greg has held several offices in Rotary but has most often held the office of Club Treasurer, of which he is currently serving. Greg has assisted three Rotary clubs in forming foundations and acquiring their 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Greg is currently a member of the Nevada Tavern Owner’s Association.

Greg enjoys boarding a cruise ship headed for the sunshine and clear blue water. He loves to scuba dive and is an avid underwater photographer. Back on land, he roots for the San Diego Chargers. He is a devoted father and resides in southeast Las Vegas, Nevada with his two sons.
